Location and contact

Reaching the property from the village is extremely easy. Most of the journey follows a secondary road through the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park, while the final section is a well-maintained concrete road that allows any vehicle to reach Cortijo La Viña without difficulty.

Frigiliana, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, is located at the eastern end of the province of Málaga, in the Axarquía region, just 6 km from the coast of Nerja. It combines the advantages of a rural mountain setting, approximately 320 metres above sea level, with the coast and Nerja’s magnificent beaches just a five-minute drive away.

The local climate offers very mild temperatures, with summer temperatures rarely exceeding 30°C in August and winter minimum temperatures seldom falling below 10°C.

How to get to Frigiliana

From Málaga

The city of Málaga has excellent transport connections by all means of travel. The AVE high-speed train connects it with Madrid in just 2 hours and 30 minutes, while Málaga International Airport offers hundreds of connections for visitors travelling from outside Spain. Frigiliana is only 55 km from Málaga via the Mediterranean motorway, which is approximately a 45-minute drive.

From Granada or Almería

Thanks to Frigiliana’s privileged location and excellent road connections, it is only around 60 minutes from Granada, home of the Alhambra, with the entire journey taking place on motorways. Access to and from Almería is equally convenient by motorway, with a journey time of just over one hour.
